I went there once in 1.4 and it was all glitched out and ominous

I keep fearing that I'll get punished like that for going out of bounds on games. Especially if I get stopped for an accidental glitchy cutscene, or in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl with the "mystery zone" where the game knows you're out of bounds

There is also a vampiric blade which comes enchanted with vampire. You can find it as a drop from a floating skull in the quarry mine
